AVE MARIA RED SOX 10, GGNLL PHILLIES 3
Date:
Thursday, April 19
Location: Golden Gate Community Park
Record: Phillies 2-10-3
Phillies standouts: Tanyon Emanuel (1 for 1, 2 walks, RBI); Trey Wetherill (2 for 3, double, run); Brandon Garcia (2 for 3, RBI); Brandon Garcia (3 IP, 4 K); Mauricio Colon (3 IP, 2 H, ER).
Phillies coach: “The boys did much better this time against a good Red Sox team. A few too many errors in this game; otherwise they would’ve had a legitimate chance at a win. After giving up six runs in the top of the first, they settled down and only gave up four more runs. They’re definitely showing a lot of improvement as we close out the regular season next week.”
